LUTHERAN FAITH COMMUNITY NURSE ASSOCIATION(LFCNA)
The National Alzheimer’s and Dementia Resource Center is pleased to host the webinar, The Experience of Younger Onset Alzheimer’s Disease and the Importance of Community Support, on September 16, 2024, from 2:00-3:00 p.m. ET. A description of the webinar and registration information follows.
Living with younger onset Alzheimer’s disease brings difficult adjustment and challenges, including changes in communication, relationships, and everyday tasks. Along with these adjustments, those living with younger onset Alzheimer’s disease also talk of the loneliness of this disease. Creating support groups is one way to help reduce the feelings of isolation. This session will draw from the experiences of the Without Warning support program from the Rush Alzheimer’s Disease Center.
