Year End Donations

As you consider your donations to non-profit organizations this year, please consider a gift to LFCNA.  Gifts in any amount are welcome and will continue to support the work of LFCNA and continue to create opportunities to offer grants to congregations who wish to initiate a parish nursing ministry.

There are often times when we want to offer a tribute to someone who has touched our lives.  While there are many worthy causes which one can donate to, please consider a donation to LFCNA as one option.   

Donating a Portion of Your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) to LFCNA or Other Non-profit Organizations

At a date certain (depending on your year of birth) you may be required to take a distribution from your Retirement account, your 401K, your IRA, or another investment option.  If that true for you, it is possible to donate your RMD to a non-profit organization and in doing so, avoid paying taxes on the distribution.  If you are interested in supporting LFCNA in this way, speak with your accountant or investment advisor.   

Leave a Legacy

Legacy planning is an important part of end of life decision making.  It involves thoughtful and careful discernment as one seeks to know and make plans for how their life and their gifts can live on and continue to offer generous support and ongoing success to causes that have been important to them personally and professionally.  As you do legacy planning, please consider a final gift to LFCNA so the organization can continue to support ministries across Lutheranism.  

Every organization is successful because of what is offered by its members. LFCNA is no exception. As members of LFCNA your experience, expertise, and generous sharing of your time are coveted.  Become a regional director or committee member.  Participate in the peer group sharing events so others can learn from you.  Attend educational events where we learn together. LFCNA is stronger because every member has gifts to offer and every voice is important. Please consider how you can support the important work the organization is doing in congregations and agencies across the world.

Thank you for making a gift to LFCNA. You may direct your funds to one of the following - or if not specified, the funds will be directed to where they are most needed.

Churchwide or Synod Events - supporting expenses related to having a presence at these events

Congregational Grants - to start or expand FCN ministry. LFCNA is currently providing to grants per year to congregations.

Valborg Tollefsrud Education Fund - supports one continuing education event annually

If you prefer to donate to one of these funds, please designate so in the Comments section of the donation form below.  Also please advise if you wish your gift to remain anonymous. All gifts will be publicly recognized on the Donor Recognition page associated to the corresponding fund to which your gift is directed (not including the amount) unless requested not to be publicly recognized.
