Developed in 2011 by the American Association of Surgeons is a national initiative that aims to help people respond to major arterial bleeding in mass casualty events. Church shootings are becoming an increasing threat to faith based institutions. In the United States, the Justice Department has reported about 15% of all hate crimes are against religion. Parish nurses, clergy, and others must plan and develop protocols for mass trauma to congregational members. Our campus security officers will present “Stop the Bleed” and SAVE lives.
