FCN Refresher Course

Sponsored by the Faith Community Nurse Network of the Twin Cities.

Course description: Has it been more than 5 years since you attended the Foundations of Faith Community Nursing course to prepare you as an FCN?  Westberg Institute recommends that FCNs who’ve attended their preparation course more than 5 years ago should actually retake the Foundations Course due to many revisions. But if time and cost to attend the full course is prohibitive, consider our FCN Refresher Course!

Course content: Content will reflect the revisions in the Foundations Course in 2024 and will also include topics identified by a survey of 100 FCNs who expressed interest in a Refresher course. Description of the content will be available to those who register for the course.

We will be offering two sessions in 2025, a spring and summer sessions – with 3 classes each session. Participants must complete all 3 classes in their chosen session.

• Two Offerings – All Classes will be held via zoom from 9:00 to 3:00 (Central Time).
• Location: Online via Zoom
• Course Fee: $180.00. We reserve the right to cancel if class size is below our minimum.
• Full fee will be refunded if the session is cancelled.
• Contact hours: 15 CE Hours
• This three- session course provides  FCNs with 15 CE hours.   Topics were chosen based on survey of  FCNs who indicated interest in a refresher course.  These CE hours are valid in the state of MN. RNs from other states should check with their Board of Nursing to be sure the CEs are applicable.*
